Growing up in Sydney, Australia, most of our time as children and then onwards, was spent in and around the water. Surfing from the age of 6, it’s a part of who we are.

Fairy Bower, which we lovingly referred to as “Bower”, is a right hand point break in the stunning, Cabbage Tree Bay of Manly Beach. Surfing Bower was the aspiration of all surfers of the area, young and old. Her sweeping “right handers” were beautiful, powerful and challenging as large south swells rolled up the Australian coast but the surrounding landscapes and community associated with her always made Bower feel like home.

We’ve been around a bit since then and experienced the “Bowers” of so many other beautiful places. We draw our inspiration from time spent traveling (mostly surfing) to Indonesia, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Central America but also exploring California and the US.

Bower Surf Club is a humble & thoughtful homage to our teams life of surfing, outdoor pursuits, hospitality and travel and the people and places along the way. Bower will be an all day neighborhood cafe, bar and restaurant serving espresso, drinks, breakfast, lunch & dinner 7 days.
